CONGRATULATIONS you're thinking of getting married.
This is an exciting time with so much to think about and plan and of course it's so important to make sure you choose the perfect venue for that big day that also fits your budget.

At the SCOTTOW 3 HORSESHOES we have held many different kinds and sizes of weddings.
Our barn provides the perfect setting surrounded by beautiful countryside with field views yet conveniently located on the main B1150 road between North Walsham (4 miles) and Coltishall. (3 miles) We are also only 10 miles from Norwich and 4 miles from Wroxham.

FUNCTION ROOM HIRE
Hiring the barn for your reception or party only is £295.00 this is till 1.00 am
For every extra hour past this time please add £50.
If you hire the barn for the reception only and you spend more than £600 on food the room hire is reduced to £150.00.
We take a £450 room safety deposit. This is against any damages etc.

To hold your date we ask for £100 non-returnable deposit (this does come off your final bill)

ENTERTAINMENT
We can provide reception entertainment for you, the cost will vary depending on the type of entertainment required ie. a disco or band, etc. We have a number of DJs we use on a regular basis and have a good list of local bands. You are also welcome to provide your own.

WINE AND DRINK PACKAGES
We have a comprehensive wine list available from our award winning wine supplier.
We can also provide drinks on arrival; toasts drinks etc. (ask to see our drink packages)

CORKAGE
We allow customers to bring their own wine in whatever size bottles
however we do charge £4.50 for corkage per bottle of wine
£6.50 for boxes of wine
£8.50 for champagne

FOOD
Food can be provided, either a hot or cold buffet, sit down meal, barbeque, etc. We do our best to cater for whatever style of food you decide to have on your big day. We have some basic menus for you to look at but these are just guides and our executive chef will be happy to prepare and cost a menu that is specially designed for you.

PAYMENT
The total amount payable by the client will be calculated on the final numbers given. Full payment is required no later than two weeks before the function date if paying cash and three weeks if paying by cheque. No refunds or credit will be given if numbers change after full pre-payment has been received. Please make cheques payable to THE THREE HORSESHOES. If paying by credit card please add 5 % to the total bill (no extra charge if paying with a debit card)

CANCELLATION
The cancellation of a function where we are unable to re-book within 3 months of the function date will result in a fee of 50% of the agreed final bill.

The cancellation of a function where we are unable to re book within 3 to 6 months of the function date will result in a fee of 25% of the agreed final bill.

To hold your date we ask for a deposit of £100 which will come off your final bill, we will hold your date for 2 weeks on a verbal agreement. After this time we will require a deposit of £100
this is a NON RETURNABLE DEPOSIT.

The SCOTTOW THREE HORSESHOES will invoice the client for the appropriate cancellation charges. These will be payable within seven days of the of the date of the invoice.

OUTSIDE SERVICES

MUSIC/PERFORMERS
Where clients employ bands, musicians or other entertainment, the client is responsible for ensuring their compliance with all statutory codes and regulations. It is also the responsibility of the client to ensure that performing rights society regulations are not infringed. All the equipment used by performers needs to be in a safe condition and be PAT tested. The SCOTTOW THREE HORSESHOES reserves the right to refuse any performers that do not comply with this basic regulation.

CATERERS
We do allow for people to bring in outside caters but they have to comply with all the relevant health and hygiene laws and also have to be a requested food business with their own public liability insurance.

The company will be required to meet with us and we do reserve the right to have final decision as to whether the function will go ahead.

There are no facilities available for an outside caterers to use; they would have to bring all their own equipment. If they are using our water and power we do charge an extra £100 for this.

TABLE CLOTHS
We can supply table cloths for your function. They are made from white cotton and fit a normal size table. We charge £7 for each table cloth needed, if you prefer we can put you in touch with a local company that deals in linen hire.

OUTSIDE FUN!!
We don't mind the garden being used for outside fun e.g. bouncy castles etc, however you must use a company that has its own insurance. Please NOTE that the client is responsible for any accidents that happen and if the equipment is being miss-used in anyway or being used by guests that are deemed by any of our staff to be drunk, the clients WILL loose their deposit.
