Our 200-year-old grade 2 listed building is totally self-contained from the main pub.
We are able to hold Weddings, Parties, Christening's, Wakes, and Celebrations from 20 to 299 guests. Sit down meals can be catered for 20 to 120 guests or a buffet from 20 to 299 guests and when the weather is nice you can over spill into the garden.

The barn has its own entrance foyer, which is great to double up as an area for drinks on arrival or an area for meeting and greeting guests. It also has a small cloakroom area, its own toilets (which are separate from the main pub) also with baby changing facilities.

The main room has wooden flooring and a wooden vaulted ceiling; the walls are half wooden panelled and traditional red bricked. At one end of the room is a large fully stocked bar with all the usual beers on draught and at the opposite end of the barn we have a good size raised stage area, which is big enough to hold a 14 piece jazz band, a karaoke mashine, disco equipmet or simply one singer!!!

We have enough tables and chairs to cater for around 120 people sitting down and for 299 standing. Our tables are all rectangle and most of our chairs are wooden. We can supply table cloths or put you in touch with hire company's (see wedding information). Putting two table together make a good sized square table to seat 8 people around or we can put our larger banqueting tables together and seat 10 people around them.
We have done so many different table plans the best thing is to give us a ring or pop in to see us and we will do our best to help you. The walls and ceiling areas are left plain (we do have a few items hanging on the walls) so we don't mind drapes being put up or such like if you require. The barn is a good blank canvass to make it special for you or just left plain (great for barn dances, ceilidh or traditional country weddings).

THE GARDEN
This is self contained and private from the main pub and is to the rear of the barn with access from the rear doors (near the stage). The garden has great field views and is a good size shielded by a number of large beautiful trees and nearly all fenced in. At night it is all totally flood lit. We have a number of picnic benches in the garden and there is enough space for bouncy castles and out door games etc. We have used a number of different out size fun items in the past (see wedding information page for details). Behind the barn next to the garden and to the rear of the pub we have a large car park with parking for roughly 50 cars.
