Since June 2006 the Scottow 3 Horseshoes has been run by a new team of people. The partnership of Mark, Claire and Richard has resulted in a full re-brand of the Horseshoes and we believe has put some love and passion back into this beautiful and historic building.

The 3 horseshoes has seen many changes in its 300 year history and has accumulated and interesting past due to its close proximity to the famous RAF Coltishall and being centrally located at the very heart of Scottow village. It was built in the early 1700s starting life as a coaching inn. The building has always been thatched, complete with beams and inglenook fireplaces it really has the feel of a traditional Norfolk pub.

We are lucky to have a large barn to the rear of the pub that is capable of holding functions of up to 299 people; it was was once part of a working farm which was converted in the 70's and has recently been refurbished. The barn is totally separate from the main pub which makes it the ideal place to hold wedding receptions, parties etc..

The Scottow 3 Horseshoes also has a small restaurant that seats up to 28 people. We serve an exciting mix of both traditional and modern types of cuisine cooked by our two fully qualified chefs. The emphasis is on home cooked food, with most dishes being prepared and made on the premises. We have some fantastic local suppliers and aim to use as much produce as possible from around the immediate area meaning tasty, freshly cooked food for our customers, regular custom for our fellow local businesses and a low impact on our environment. Benefits for everyone! You do not have to sit in our restaurant to eat. If you prefer a more relaxed setting we have lots of space in the bar, snugg area and in the garden.

The bar has a varied array of wines, beers and real ales selected to suit every taste. Our bar manger has a great interest in what he serves and takes conciderable care in looking after his cellar. We have two exceptional real ales on at all times including the very popular Adnams and a great selection of lagers, spirts, bottles etc. We also have a fabulous choice of over 20 Whisky's, of which 14 are single malts. Our whisky tasting team has chosen all of these!!
